We are very happy to announce that SIMCC is partnering CHER Online (Singapore) to conduct live streamed and online post competition sessions for all Primary/grade levels 3 to 6 VANDA participants.

In these sessions, very experienced and qualified teachers from Singapore will be taking you through the VANDA ISC 2020 papers (questions and answers). You will get a chance to see where you have gone right or wrong in the competition. These sessions are complimentary for VANDA grade 3-6 participants, fully sponsored by CHER Online (Singapore).

Graduated from NIE with a Diploma in Education

Taught in Poi Ching Primary School for 5 years and has experience as a PSLE marker. She has 16 years of experience giving tuition specialising in primary school Mathematics & Science. She is deeply passionate about teaching and enjoys helping students understand and apply concepts and keywords.

With her strong mastery in subject content, she is more than equipped to motivate students and develop in them a love and passion for the subject. A nurturing and endearing teacher, she exhibits a patient, genuine care for students and takes personal responsibility to help her students improve.

Many of her PSLE students obtain distinctions and successfully gain entry into Singapore Top Schools such as Hwa Chong Institution, Raffles Girls’ School, Raffles Institution and Dunman High.

May Chua

Graduated with a Masters in Educational Studies (Learning Support, Assessment, Numeracy) at University of Queensland (Australia).

Graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at NIE.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Science) at NUS.

Taught upper primary levels in several MOE schools for more than 18 years. She specializes in teaching students of various learning abilities. To her, Science is a living and evolving subject. She uses current news and online materials to illustrate the concepts of learning and how Science is applied to our daily lives. She is constantly reading and looking for opportunities, places and situations which can help to bring the subject alive and help the students gain their “Aha” moments in class.

CHER Online (from the word teacher) is a team of ex-Ministry of Education (Singapore) educators, heads of departments (HODs) and school leaders offering Primary 4 to 6 (PSLE and iPSLE Programme) and Grade 4-6 (IB and Cambridge CheckPoint Programme) classes for students in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and globally in English, Mathematics and Science. They also offer GCE ‘O’ Level Cambridge and IGCSE online lessons for Singapore and International students.

These lessons will take place on the 21 November 2020 (Saturday) via CHER Online software (Classin). These online lessons are recorded and will be made accessible to registered students only, especially students who may not be able to attend the live lessons due to the time zone difference.
